- Before Caitlin Clark was an All-WNBA first-team point guard for the Indiana Fever, she had arguably one of the greatest college careers ever. Clark made a name for herself in her four seasons with the Iowa . She made an All-American team each year while leading Iowa to two straight national championship appearances. She also broke Pete Maravich’s record for most points in NCAA history.
Alongside Clark for her entire college journey was former Iowa head coach Lisa Bluder. The three-time Big Ten Coach of the Year spent 24 years with the Hawkeyes from 2000-2024. In 2019, she won her first and only Naismith College Coach of the Year award but didn’t make it to the Final Four until Clark arrived. With March Madness on the horizon, Bluder has decided that she will be joining the Big Ten Network as an analyst during the upcoming Big Ten Tournament, per Fever beat writer Scott Agness. She will be working alongside Ashley Adamson and Shimmy Miller.
The Big Ten Network will cover 10 games from the conference tournament between the second round, quarterfinals, and semifinals, which will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the home of Clark and the Fever. Iowa was able to earn the No. 11 seed after finishing the regular season with a 20-9 overall record and 10-8 in conference play. It will open up tournament play with a first-round battle against the No. 14 seed Wisconsin Badgers. With a win, the Hawkeyes would move on to face the No. 6 seed Michigan State Spartans in the second round.
