An agreement is in place for Gray to join Tottenham this week after they activated the £40million release clause in the teenager’s contract.
It sees Gray move to North London on a long-term deal while Leeds have sweetened the deal by agreeing to take Joe Rodon back to Elland Road on a permanent deal after he became fan favourite during his loan spell.
Gray’s fee comes by virtue of a release clause in his contract that was agreed in the deal he signed back in January, and became active after Leeds lost in the playoff final to Southampton.
