World Championship star told “don’t come back” Snooker star Hossein Vafaei has been told to try not to get back to the Pot later on after he slagged off the field following his Reality Snooker Title first round rout to Judd Trump.
On Sunday, the 2019 champion defeated the Prince of Persia 10-5 before launching an attack at the venue. Vafaei hissed, “You want to go somewhere really nice as a player, as a media team,” after the encounter.
The Crucible has a terrible odor as you walk around it. As a player tell the truth, it’s very terrible. Everything’s so terrible. You observe how courteous people treat you when you visit other venues in other nations. Everything sparkles.
However, things are very different here. If you ask me if I would like to return here again, I will answer,
“No way.” Do you notice anything noteworthy in the practice area? I feel as though I’m working out in a garage. Some of Vafaei’s fellow pros didn’t like his comments, so on Monday, the 2005 world champion Shaun Murphy gave him some advice. After defeating Lyu Haotian 10-5 in his first round match, Murphy explained in a press conference, “Listen, this is a working theatre, it’s not a purpose-built snooker venue.”
“We’re coming up on the 50th commemoration of snooker being here. “They probably wouldn’t come here if the World Snooker Tour showed up tomorrow to do a site visit because it’s not big enough.” We are powerless to change that. But this is sacred ground, and for a professional snooker player to be so openly critical of our house is almost sacrilege.
“Hossein ought to instruct himself on how our visit functions and the associations with WST and our transmission accomplices, our settings and how exceptional these spots are. Does he believe he’s assisting the game with developing by being so straightforwardly condemning of one of our colleagues?
He hasn’t helped the sport at all, and my mother always told me, “Don’t say anything if you don’t have anything nice to say.”
