Miller Forristall, a tight end, was cut from the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad on Friday, the NFL franchise said. With an injury settlement, Forristall was released by the Rams. The injuries sustained by the former Alabama tight end was not made public. Forristall was a member of the Los Angeles practice squad for the second season. An arrangement that permits an injured player and his team to part ways right away is known as an injury settlement. A player is often compensated for the number of games he would likely miss during the regular season due to his injure forristall did not appear in a regular-season game with Los Angeles, although he did catch a 6-yard touchdown pass with four seconds remaining in the Rams’ 13–12 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in their preseason opener on August 11. On November 13, 2022, Forristall made his most recent of six regular-season appearances.
