Arsenal returned to winning ways with a 5-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace on Saturday to end a four-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring for the Gunners with a header from Declan Rice’s corner and the Brazilian thought he had won the game eight minutes before half-time but his header went behind Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson and ended up conceding an own goal.
Leandro Trossard added a third for the hosts after the break when Gabriel Jesus made a quick counter-attack
And then Gabriel Martinelli capped a good afternoon for Arsenal when he came off the bench to score twice in stoppage time to move

Good work by the keeper today. made one bad clearing, but recovered with a deft diving save. made a fantastic pass to Jesus to initiate the breakaway that led to Trossard’s goal.

opened up the Palace defense in the first half with a few well-placed defense-splitting passes.
William Saliba (7/10):
Excellent fight with Mateta. As always, collected and calm. made a stunning turn that had the audience gasping.
Gabriel Magalhaes (8/10):
once more demonstrated his talent from set pieces. Finished off a great performance with two fantastic headers, even though the second one was subsequently ruled an own goal.
Oleksandr Zinchenko (7/10):
always taking part. He will be welcomed back by Arteta following his injury layoff.
Midfield
Declan Rice (7/10):
Beautiful corner to create the opening goal. Apart from a few mishandled passes, it was a generally strong performance. lacked energy in the end, which may cause Arteta some concern.
Martin Odegaard (7/10):
led the press as usual and put in a lot of effort, but he was unable to seriously harm Palace offensively.
Kai Havertz (6/10):
on the periphery of matters. Had a few pleasant moments but never posed a serious risk.
Attack
Bukayo Saka (6/10):
Palace handled him quite nicely. saw a lot of the ball, but not in any places that would have posed a significant threat to the visitors.
Gabriel Jesus (7/10):
His great link-up play paid off as he assisted Trossard in scoring the third goal.
Leandro Trossard (7/10):
had one excellent opportunity in the second half that he missed, but he made it up to 3-0 with a fantastic turn and finish.
