Tottenham has attended his previous four home games as club president confirms defense bid.
In January, a number of Premier League teams are pursuing transfers for Arouna Sangante, with Tottenham showing particular interest, according to Le Havre president Jean-Michel Roussier
According to Roussier, a proposal for the highly regarded center-back from a club he did not identify has already been rejected by the Ligue 1 team.
Sangante, 21, has drawn a lot of attention from teams throughout Europe as a result of his outstanding play for Le Havre throughout the last 18 months.
It’s known that Tottenham has increased their interest in Sangante and is eager to sign him.
Prior to the January reopening of the transfer market, Spurs have seen his last four home games.
Le Havre has already rejected one bid from an unidentified team and is aware of the increasing interest in Sangante.
But when the window opens next month, they are prepared for more proposals for the player.
Sangante is the youngest captain in the top division and has participated in every minute of all but three Ligue 1 games this year.
He was essential in propelling Le Havre to 11th place in the league standings after helping them win promotion the previous season.
After completing his studies at the prestigious Le Havre academy, he has continued to grow and succeed since making his debut in the first squad in the summer of 2021.
It is accurate to say that clubs mostly in the English Premier League have expressed interest in Sangante.
“I think that up to seven English clubs have come to watch Sangante both at home games and here in Le Havre.
A club made us an offer, but it wasn’t the right fit for us.
“Ideally, we can get Sangante back on loan until June so he can play out the season with Le Havre if we receive a good offer in January that works for everyone.
